The Center for Joint Replacement at St. John is an orthopedic specialty center inside a nationally-renowned, acute-care hospital. The center is located on the 12th floor of the medical center's J. A. Chapman Tower.
The facility includes 22 private patient rooms, an attractive common area known as the Oklahoma Room and a spacious group therapy room. Designed with our patients' comfort in mind, The Center features CD players and TV/VCR units in each room, captain's beds for overnight guests, Internet-connected computers and wireless internet access. A wide selection of videos and board games is available for patient check-out.
Patients are often accompanied by a “coach” – a spouse, sibling or friend who acts as a partner in the healing process - during their stay. Your coach will attend therapy sessions with you and offer support.
Meal times at the Center are as much about socializing as they are about eating. You and your coach will joint other patients and their coaches for casual group lunches, toast your recovery at an elegant gourmet wine dinner the evening before discharge.
